Shirt and Tie Banner

Part of our family holiday tradition is banners. Be it birthdays, Mother’s Day, or anniversaries, at our house part of celebrating the people we love is making a sign of some sort. Here is what I came up with for Father’s Day this year.

Remember those Shirt and Tie Cards? Here’s another idea for using the same adorable die–add the die cut shirts and ties to a banner using mini wooden clothespins. Cute, huh?

To create the letter portions of the banner I cut several 6×6 pieces of Game Day patterned paper and punched them with my Loop Mini 8 Punch. Then I trimmed them in half and added an eyelet to each corner with my Crop-A-Dile to reinforce them.

After adding large letter stickers I strung them on a long length of black Sew Easy Baker’s Twine. Fitting the Shirt and Tie die cuts in between finished the banner off perfectly.
