Did you love the sneak peeks you saw last month of the darling Little One collection? Weren’t those little woodland critters adorable? I think so. I had the chance to create a few projects with this collection and I wanted to share them with you.
One of the many things I love about this collection is that it’s perfect for baby boy, baby girl, and all occasion projects. There are plenty of generic prints so it really is versatile, and I love the soft pastel colors with the pops of navy. So pretty. I made a couple of gift bag & card sets—one for a baby girl, and one for a baby boy. Let’s take a look at the girl set first.
I love the alphabet block paper—perfect for cutting out titles and sentiments. The 6×6 paper pad is the perfect size for cards. The wood grain paper is awesome, and there’s just enough pink balancing the other colors for a subtle feminine touch.
For the girl gift bag I used the real image cloud paper (another favorite of mine), and then I made a flower accent with the Flower Punch Board from the pink gingham paper.
Using some of the same papers I was able to make a baby boy gift bag & card set as well.
I love that all I had to do was emit the pink elements and I ended up with a perfect boy card. How cute are those little critters? My favorite is the sleeping fox.
For this project I decided to use the 12×12 alphabet block paper instead of the 6×6 so that the monogram was large enough to be the focal point of the bag. And even though I used the same cloud paper to create both bags, the additional papers and elements give them each their own unique look.
So, what do you think? Do you like what you’ve seen of the Little One Collection so far?
