Patriotic Treat Packaging

Patriotic Gift treat by Aimee Maddern 1

Hi there We R fans, Aimee here.

It’s patriotic week here on the We R blog and today I created some patriotic gift bags with the new Template Studio & Designer Poster Board. I also created some firecracker treat boxes using the Candy Box Punch Board.

Using the Template Studio, I made 5.5 x 8.5 bags. I cut the Designer Poster Board to 20×12, and followed the instructions on the cue card that came with the Template Studio. Here is a great video tutorial showing to make the gift bags with the Template Studio.

I used some American Crafts, Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy Thickers and Toothpick Flags

…along with some Imaginisce Heartland Farm product to embellish the gift bags.

To make the firecracker treat boxes, I followed the direction on the Candy Box Punch Board.

To create a standing box, follow directions on punchboard. After the diamonds have been punched and the lines scored, cut at the middle of the bottom row of diamonds.

Using a ruler and bone folder score across the top of the diamond.

Fold in and adhere. To create just the firecracker {without it being a treat box} just skip the diamonds and scallops on the bottom of the box.

Thanks for stopping by the We r blog today. What patriotic crafts will you be making?
