Hi there, Laura here today to share with all of you a cute and easy Valentine’s Day gift box and tag you can whip up in no time. When giving gifts, I like to make the packaging just as special as the gift itself. I used the 1-2-3 Punch Board to create a gift box that will work well for any small gift. You can create this box to fit any gift from as small as about 2 inches up to 4 inches. These would make adorable favor boxes to use for a little candy treat at a Valentine’s party.
To start with you will use the 1-2-3 Punch Board to create a box. Mine is 4 inches x 4 inches x 4 inches and uses a full 12 inch x 12 inch sheet of paper. I used paper from the Crush collection. The whole collection is perfect for Valentine’s Day crafting.
After you create the box, you will make a gift tag/card to go on the top of the box. I used a paper trimmer to cut out a piece of gold foil paper to 3 ½” x 4 ½”. I ran the gold foil through the Evolution Advanced with the heart embossing folder. Then, I punched the corners with a round corner chomper.
I cut out a 3” x 4” tag from the Crush collection paper collection. I rounded the corners on it and attached it to the gold foil paper with adhesive foam squares. Then I added a ‘LOVE’ ticket to the tag with more foam squares. I used regular adhesive to attach a gold foil heart to the top of the ticket.
Finally, I created a small bow using the 1-2-3 punch board and attached it to the top of the banner using adhesive.
I attached it to the top of the box and it is ready for giving!
