Hello everybody!

It’s Lindsay Bateman here, and I am SO very excited to be sharing with you all a couple of projects I recently made using the BRAND NEW We R Memory Keepers Mini Alphabet Punch Board in celebration of Alpha Week here over on the We R blog. Yes…you heard me right…MINI!

It is exactly the same version and concept of the original Alphabet Punch Board….except this one now makes smaller letters…1 1/2” x 2 1/2” inch alphas to be exact. They are the cutest! I used the Flower Girl collection to create both projects, one being a layout and the other a fun pennant banner.

First, let’s have a close up look at my ‘CELEBRATE’ banner.

I love having the option of the Mini Alphabet Punch Board because it is such a great way to create ‘smaller’ banners with long words.  Especially if one does not have a lot of extra space or room to create a huge banner with large letters.

To create this banner, I cut out my banner pieces from a 12×12 sheet of Flower Girl patterned paper.  I then used a different pattern paper from the same collection to create my alphas.  Following the booklet guide that comes with the punch, I punched out each individual letter. I then adhered onto my banner, embellishing with ephemera also from the Flower Girl collection.  I used my sewing machine to stitch my banners altogether to create a fun mini ‘celebrate’ decor piece.

Next up, a traditional 12×12 page.

To be honest, I could NOT wait to create a traditional scrapbook page using the Mini Alphabet Punch.  I adore adding titles and using alphas on all of my projects, so the very fact that I could customize my own title using whatever patterns and papers my heart desired made me SO very happy.

Using the Flower Girl collection, I decided to create a large title/phrase as the base of my page “love you sweet girl”.

I varied up the patterns, and I also substituted photos in for a few of the letters.

You can see just how small the letters are this punch creates, as my photos were punched using a 2” circle punch. I absolutely adore the end result.

For a finishing touch I added a few more embellishments from the collection onto my page.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everybody! I’m Lindsay Bateman. I live in Lac La Biche, Alberta Canada where I reside with my husband, Matthew and our 2 year old son Madix. Scrapbooking and paper crafting has been a part of my life ever since I can remember.  I am obsessed with stationary, photography and everything/anything related to documenting life!  It truly is my happy place.  Currently I am an active member on Heidi Swapp’s Media/Design Team and loving every minute!  If you would like to see more of my creative work or what is currently inspiring me, you can find me on Instagram, Pinterest and my own personal blog. Hugs!

Favorite We R Product:

I would definitely have to say that my favourite We R Product is the Alphabet Punch Board (both mini and large size).  Having ONE tool with the ability to create every letter of the alphabet in literal seconds has been such a huge game changer for me.  Never has it been SO easy to create gorgeous customized alphas in every colour and pattern of paper out there. Plus it is such an amazing tool to get using up those pieces of scrap paper!  It is the best.

Favorite Scrapbooking/Paper Crafting Tip:

One of my favourite scrapbooking/paper crafting tips has to be organized storage.  With life being SO busy, I never want to waste my precious time that I do get to scrapbook looking and organizing my stash.  Keeping a drawer filled with my essentials (adhesive, trimmer, stamping ink, stickers) helps keep me productive, focused and more efficient when it comes to completing projects and making the most of what free time I do get to have in my day for me!

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful projects and a little bit about yourself with us today Lindsay! We hope you all have an awesome weekend, and take lots of photos!
