Typecast Teacher Gift

Amid all the excitement about our new release, the Typecast typewriter and paper collection, our in house design team has been busy coming up with some project inspiration to share with you. Since this week is Back-to-School week, check out this easy Typecast Teacher Gift idea!

Using our new typewriter to create a label and personalized note for this sweet gift adds a very cool and appropriately school-themed touch. Plus, if you prefer the look of printed text instead of handwriting it’s so much easier to add text to tags and labels with a typewriter than a computer + printer.

To make one of these darling gifts for your child’s teacher, follow these simple instructions:

  • Type teacher’s name on gold foil label. Add label to treat bag.
  • Fill treat bag with pencils.
  • Type a note to the teacher on a gold foil tag.
  • Stack notebook, treat bag with pencils, and note. Tie in place using pink ribbon.

Your child’s teacher will love this gift–what teacher couldn’t use a notebook and some extra pencils? Plus, the typewriting adds such a cool retro look to this project!
