Flamingo Card

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with a fun and silly card that says summer! What a fun card to be able to send a friend who you have been missing! The wire flamingo made with the We R Memory Keepers Happy Jig inspired the punny sentiment and I cannot help but smile.

To begin with, I created the flamingo with the instructions I found in the booklet that comes with the Happy Jig. The pink wire was the perfect shade too! If you have misplaced your booklet, don’t worry. There are tons of ideas and instructions to be found on Instagram on the We R Happy Jig account.

To adhere my flamingo to the card, I used a strong glue on the flattest and lower parts of the wire. If you are struggling with that, I suggest some colorful staples.

And now for the punny sentiment. They are always my favorite. Creating them is now going to be a summer breeze with the Word Punch Board.

I simply lined up my letters inside, placed the patterned paper I wanted punched along the edge, and pressed down on the teal top. Easy. I layered a striped piece of patterned paper from Crate’s Cute Girl paper pad behind to add a fun, colorful element.

So, does anyone want to fla-mingle with me at the beach this summer?
