The Emoji Punch Board is really awesome. With a small paper square (1.5×1.5 inches) and 3 punches (or 4 depending on the face you want) you get a super fun emoji! It has never been so easy to create a smiling face! So before diving into the tutorials, you’ll need to prepare all squares to make the emojis. Here is a super tip for you: use the Square Punch Board and you’ll get all the squares very fast! I placed mine in little containers and punched about 130 various emojis.

Let’s start with the straws and the toppers. There is nothing easier: just use the USP Power Mini Glue Gun to place some emojis on them and then (for the toppers) add another circle behind for more fun!

For the suprise cones: use the DIY Party Board to create mini cones. Decorate them with twine, emojis and puffy stickers!

I also used the Word Punch Board to create mini “PARTY” labels that I adhered with my Mini Glue Gun. I just love how the words pop out of the cones!

For the treat bags, I used the Clear Cut Punch to create small tags then I attached them to the kraft bags before adding the emojis and the embellishments.

For the garland, I took all the emojis left from the previous projects and used my Stitch Happy to sew them altogether.

And voilà! Time to party now!

Emoji Shaker Pocket Card

Hello, We R friends! Enza here, and today I’m sharing a card created with the super fun Emoji Punch Board. Those little smiley faces are just too cute, and I love that I can create lots of different ones with one punch board. When I think of emojis, I usually picture happy ones, so I decided to go with a shaker card; confetti, sequins, and fun smiley faces are the perfect combination to brighten someone’s day.

Emoji Shaker Card by Enza Gudor for We R Memory Keepers

I started by creating several emojis using the Perforated Paper Pad, which contains perforated paper squares perfectly sized for the Emoji Punch Board. You have four different colors to choose from, and it really makes it easy and faster to cut your shapes. I backed each emoji with patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Pick-Me-Up collection, which is mostly the collection I used for this card. I like that you can see other colors coming through the negative spaces of the images.

Next, I used the Frame Punch Board to create the window of my card; I adhered scalloped borders that I fussy cut from patterned paper behind it, and a piece of clear acetate cut to size for the opening. I then filled up the window with the emojis, sequins, fussy-cut icons and sentiments from the collection I chose, as well as some sprinkles created with the Sprinkle Punch. I used foam adhesive to adhere the front panel to the card base.

I finished the card with a “Smile” sentiment created with the Happy Jig, and twine wrapped around the spine.

I love how this card turned out. It makes me happy to see all those smiley faces “shaking” around. What will you make with your Emoji Punch Board?

Emoji Letterboard Wall Decor

Hello everyone!  It’s Eva on the blog today showing you how to make a cute Letterboard sign using the new Emoji Punch Board.

Emoji Letterboard Wall Decor by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

One of the things I love most about this Punch Board is that you can create more than 19 emojis with just a few punches. The punch board is small and perfect to carry around for crops. Plus the punch board is really intuitive and you really don’t need the instruction booklet once you learn how the board works.

I used my Letterboard and some emoji faces to create a cute message for our living room.

To start this project cut some 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch papers with your Square Punch Board or use the perforated paper pad made exclusively for the Emoji Punch Board. This pad has 50 pages with nine 1.5 inch squares per pages. In total, 450 pieces in four different colors!

Create the emojis following the instructions on the booklet or create some emojis yourself!

Like I told you, the board is really easy to use and with the perforated paper pad you get perfect results every time!

I wanted to decorate my emojis a bit so I added black and red cardstock to the back of my emojis.  Punch some 1 inch black circles with the punch board and use your Sticky Thumb glue to assemble your emojis.

I added a simple phrase with my Letterboard alphabets and glued the emojis with 3d dots.

This is how my Emoji Letterboard message looks on my gallery wall. I love that it is colorful and adds a pop of color to my wall! Plus it reminds me to smile all the time!

There is so much you can use your emojis for! How about a reward chart for your little ones? That would be super fun! How would you use your emojis?

Have a great day!

Our Favorite Colors: Home Office Decor

Hello and Happy Friday crafty friends! Aly Dosdall here with you again to share a project I made with my current favorite color scheme–Blush Pink, Mint, Teal, and Cornflower Blue.

Home Office Decor by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers

I recently renovated my craft room and I’m really an aqua/teal kind of girl. My decor before the renovation was mint, teal, blue, aqua, green and brown. But I’m loving all the blush pink I’ve seen paired with those colors recently, so I’ve started following suit.

Home Office Decor by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers

I started by grabbing papers in my favorite colors from the Crate Paper Oasis and Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collections.

First I made a “family” banner with my Mini Alphabet Punch Board.

Family banner step out 3

To speed things up I grabbed my Square Punch Board and punched out four 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch rectangles, and one 2 1/2 inch square (for the letter M). Then I used my Alphabet Punch Board app to create the letters for my banner.

I used washi tape to secure the yarn to the back of the letters. I chose a yarn color to match my color scheme, and then tied it to my folding ruler.

I added a few embellishments, including a tropical leaf I made with the Happy Jig and some green wire.

Then I made some photo frames with my Frame Punch Board to display some of my favorite family photos. I added some more embellishments, including another Happy Jig tropical leaf.

Once I finished decorating my folding ruler as the focal point on the wall above my desk, I surrounded it with wall decor in the same color scheme.

I love having my family photos on display over my work area, along with my favorite colors, patterns, and images. It inspires me as I work, and it makes me happy when I look at the wall. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

Our Favorite Colors: Mixed Media Scrapbook Page

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with the new Precision Press Advanced. I bet you were expecting a stamped card from me, weren’t you? Surprise! It’s a layout! But guess what? I did stamp on it and had a blast! The We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced has some fantastic features that are going to make stamping on any project easy!

Stamps and paints from Vicki Boutin in some of  my favorite colors were going to make a great layout, especially when paired with some great tools!

We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced and Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Products from American Crafts

After painting lines on my mixed media paper, I placed it inside the Precision Press Advanced. The Press comes with two very strong magnets, which was great for holding my paper flat. I placed my stamp onto my project, exactly where I wanted it to be located. I placed clear, plastic grid piece of the Press on top, using the pegs as a guide. When I gently pushed down, the stamp clung to the plastic.

The stamp was covered in paint, using a foam brush. Then I placed the clear, plastic grid piece back on top. The image will stamp perfectly in place, because the peg guides line everything up. The absolute best part about this is, if I did not get enough paint (or ink if you were regularly stamping), I can add more and it will stamp precisely a second time. No missing. No double lines! Yay!

The clear, plastic grid piece of the Press can also be used individually. Making it a fantastic tool for scrapbookers! I wanted to stamp a small feather on the layout, including layer it over an edge of paper. I placed my stamp on the clear, plastic grid piece, added paint, and then stamped wherever I desired. The clear, plastic grid piece has these lovely foam feet that help make a solid impression.

We R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board

For some finishing touches, I grabbed a few more of my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools. Especially this brand-new tool, the Word Punch Board.

After painting a piece of mixed media paper, I lined up and punched the words out for my title. Such a great look!

We R Memory Keepers Stylus Tool

I love the look of splatter on projects, but honestly, it completely freaks me out to create. I am always afraid I will ruin my project. I solved my fear with one of the We R Memory Keepers Embossing Stylus Tools. Simply dip the end in paint and apply to you project. Apply it to your project more than once before adding more paint and you can get various sized dots. Controlled and exactly where you want them.

Our Favorite Colors: Double Page Scrapbook Layout

Hello again WeR fans! Thank you for stopping by the blog this week, as we share our favourite colour combinations! I cannot walk past anything pink. The hotter the better… I am well and truly a child of the Eighties in that regard!

Pink goes with so many colours but I really love an Aqua/Teal and Gold combination. Throw in a pop of black for good measure and it’s perfection, haha.

balloons

It’s very seldom that I create a double page layout. The second page always seems a bit daunting I guess. The layout I have created using my favourite colours though, seemed right for a double. The emotion while I created it just spilled out past twelve inches and I’m really glad I went with it, because I love how it turned out.

Double Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory Keepers

The main focal area has a circular design that expands outwards from the image. Staples hold the photo in place, adding texture and colour.

Double Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory Keepers

The grid pattern also extends out onto white cardstock. The lines and circles have been added in by hand to give a sense of continuity.

Double Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory Keepers

To start, I selected the sweet but not-too-overpowering design of a sheet of Flower Girl ‘Sweets’. (I will admit that I hoard my WeR papers and accessories now!)

The grid lines were perfect to extend my design on to a second page.

I then used my Circle Clear Cut Punch to punch a 2 inch circle into the centre of the patterned paper, below which I would adhere my image.

Using the clever circle shapes molded into my WRMK Square Guide , I traced a light pencil mark around the photo. This would serve as a guide to where I was going to be stapling.

The WRMK Staple Board allows you to punch anywhere on a project! With three sizes of staplers to choose from, it’s powerful magnetic system holds your paper in place while you staple. I’ve used the small and large size staples and adjusted the base accordingly.

It was a bit of trial and error getting the staples in exactly the correct position, but after a few goes I had worked out a bit of a system, rotating the paper as I went. It took a bit of time, but I really like the effect.

Staple Board by We R Memory Keepers

I used a fine artline pen to extend the lines onto the plain white cardstock…

Double Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory Keepers

… And one of my favourite Vicki Boutin Stamp & Die Set (circles) along with a juicy pink ink from my Vicki Boutin Color Wheel Ink Pad. These pads are so clever and compact – giving you collections of warm or cool colours. A must for the stash!

My Acrylic Stamp Blocks allowed me to see exactly where my stamping would be placed and the grid lines printed on the block make lining things up really easy.

Double Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory KeepersDouble Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory Keepers

There are lots of lots of little coordinating details on this layout. I gathered matching elements, and used up lots of things I have been keeping for a rainy day. One thing I will say is this – if you are holding on to something, use it. Use the nice things – don’t keep them hidden away.

Double Page Layout by Chantalle McDaniel for We R Memory Keepers

Another fantastic function of the Staple Board is that it comes with built-in storage, which is really handy for keeping little things like staples organized. You can purchase refill boxes of staples, which come in 3 sizes and 4 colours.

These Shimelle ‘Glitter Girl’ Shaker Stickers are a perfect example of me keeping things, lol. Sooo easy on the eye, these shaker stickers have been squirreled away. I’m so glad I used one on this page! I love it and will be using them instead of looking at them for sure.

More little details – another favourite (of which I now sadly have no more) are the ‘Pick me Up’ Rub Ons by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee. They are wonderful!

I’m definitely seeing more double in my future!

Our Favorite Colors: Handmade Card Set

Hello, We R friends, Laura here today! I am sharing a fun card set I made with some of my current favorite colors – teal, blue, and pink. I think this color combination is so fun and the adorable Pink Paislee Wild Child Girl collection is perfect for this color theme.

Favorite Colors Card Set by Laura Silva 1

Favorite Colors Card Set by Laura Silva 12To make each card base I started by trimming a 12” x 12” piece of paper to 6” x 8” using the Trim & Score board. I scored the long side at 4” to easily be able to fold the card in half. This will make a card with a finished size of 4” x 6”.

We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board

To embellish the first card, I trimmed teal heart patterned paper from the Wild Child paper pad to fit on the card. I also trimmed a blue and a pink sheet of cardstock to 1 ¾” and then used the banner punch board to create flag shaped banner pieces.

We R Memory Keepers Banner Punch Board

I used the word punch board to spell out the word HELLO on a pretty floral paper. I used an extra piece of the blue cardstock behind the word so that the word showed up better on the card. I trimmed each end of the word with a v shape to mimic the banner pieces I already made.

We R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board

I attached the hello sentiment to the top of the banner pieces.

I started creating the second card in the same way as I did for the first. I cut a piece of patterned guitar paper to fit on the card base. Then, I used the square punch board to create three mats for this cute cool cat die cut. The square punch board makes it so easy to cut perfectly sized squares and rectangles in so many sizes.

We R Memory Keepers Square Punch Board

I added some twine around the patterned paper that reminded me a little bit of the guitar strings, and then added the guitar die cut using adhesive foam dots.

For the final card, I only used the Trim & Score board. I created the card base from teal cardstock. I added a teal and blue floral paper to the front of the card. I also added a blue cardstock strip along the bottom third of the card. I found a pink tag from the Wild Child ephemera set and added some twine to embellish the top.

Then, I attached a floral die cut using foam adhesive dots to give the card a little dimension.

I love this color combination of the teal, pink, and blue for these cards. They would be the perfect little set to give as a gift. You could even make coordinating envelopes to go with them using the envelope punch board! What is your favorite color combination?

Our Favorite Colors: DIY Pom Pom Rug

Hello, We R friends! Tessa Buys here. After three boys, my little girl was so much fun to plan for. I chose a vintage color scheme for her nursery that is still going strong in her room today – aqua, yellow and red. Pistachio green, teal blue and strawberry red have snuck in over the years, and that combo of colors was so fun to work with when I made this pom pom rug her for room:

DIY Pom Pom Rug by Tessa Buys for We R Memory Keepers, featuring the DIY Party Pom Pom Maker

This is a great project if you have leftover skeins of yarn that aren’t enough for a larger project, but are too big to be tossed. I pulled all the colors I had that fell into the palette of her room, then got to work with my DIY Party Pom Pom maker. I chose to use the large size, but the small and medium (or a combination of any sizes) would work well, too.

DIY Pom Pom Rug by Tessa Buys for We R Memory Keepers, featuring the DIY Party Pom Pom Maker

I made the dozens of pom poms while watching tv over a few weeks. The process is easy, but a little bit tedious. The wrapping and cutting and shaping are a great “mindless” task if you need to relax.

DIY Pom Pom Rug by Tessa Buys for We R Memory Keepers, featuring the DIY Party Pom Pom Maker

In the last step of making the pom poms, you shape the pom pom by giving it a bit of a haircut. During this process, do not cut off the tails of the knot you made while assembling the pom pom. You will need these strings to tie the pom poms to the rug base. I used shelf liner for my base. I love that it is non-slip – perfect for a rug in an active little girl’s room!

DIY Pom Pom Rug by Tessa Buys for We R Memory Keepers, featuring the DIY Party Pom Pom Maker

The yarns I used had different textures, so the pom poms ended up being slightly different sizes, even though I used the large tool to make all of them. Instead of a perfect pattern, I ended up with random arrangement and I love the result!

When I put the rug in my little girl’s room, she snuggled her toes into it and said, “It’s so comfy, mom!” She loves it and I love that I was able to bring all these fun colors to the floor. What’s your favorite color combination? I bet it would look great as a pom pom rug! Happy creating!
