Pair Stamps with Water Color

Scrapbook layout featuring the Precision Press Advanced stamping press and Vicki Boutin Art Crayons

Add watercolor to your scrapbook page (like we did here using Vicki Boutin’s Art Crayons), and then once it dries stamp over the watercolor design with the Precision Press Advanced and your favorite stamps. You’ll achieve a cool layered look in no time.

Create Your Own Patterned Paper

Use coordinating stamps and ink pads to create custom patterned paper! Use your creation for envelopes, cards, journals, tags, and more. With the Precision Press Advanced you can stamp anywhere on a 12 x 12 sheet of paper by rotating the acrylic block and/or your paper.

Make DIY Embellishments

Stamp images in your choice of color, then fussy cut them and add them to your paper craft projects to create DIY embellishments! Use foam squares for added dimension. You’ll love how far your paper stash will stretch with this technique.

So grab a Precision Press Advanced and have some crafty fun with your stamps this weekend. We’d love to see what you create! Be sure to share your stamping projects on our Facebook page HERE, or tag us on Instagram: #wermemorykeepers #precisionpressadvanced.

Halloween Cupcake Toppers

Hey there We R friends! It’s Aly here again with some fun Halloween party decor to share with you. I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I’m creating a holiday themed project I just can’t seem to find the right themed supplies that works with what I’ve imagined in my mind. When that happens, I turn to my non-holiday themed supplies and get creative!

Halloween Cupcake Toppers by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers

This Halloween season I’ve been inspired by ravens, owls, moths, and other vintage style critter images. I wanted to create something like that for my cupcake toppers, but I didn’t have a Halloween themed stamp that looked anything like that. So, I grabbed my Precision Press Advanced, the CMYK Bird Layered Stamps, some silver, grey, and black ink pads, and went to work!

Halloween Cupcake Toppers by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers 5

The CMYK Stamps are made to work with the CMYK Ink Pads, which is how I usually create with them. But this time, I used a grayscale color scheme instead of the cyan, magenta, yellow and black to create a different look.

Halloween Cupcake Toppers by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers 6

I picked four colors of ink: silver, grey, charcoal and black, and followed the same sequence of stamping as I do with the CMYK Stamps: charcoal first, grey second, silver third, and black last.

Once I stamped all of my black birds, I used my Detail Scissors to fussy cut the shapes. To dress up my cupcakes, I made some cupcake wrappers with the DIY Party Board and some black marble paper from the Pink Paislee Spellcast collection.

Then I glued the wrappers together, and glued some black and write striped straw segments to my blackbirds with the USB Power Mini Glue Gun. Hot glue is my go-to adhesive for 3D paper crafts.

To finish off my cupcake toppers, I added black seguin stickers for the eyes, and black floss bows I made with the Bow Loom and some black Stitch Happy thread.

I love the texture that the monochromatic colors and the layered stamps create!

The toppers together with the black marble cupcake wrappers look pretty cool too!

If you’re sitting on the fence about the Precision Press Advanced, I highly recommend going for it! I love it. It has totally changed how I feel about stamping, and I’m never going back! Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll “see” you next time.

Fall Home Decor

Hello We R Memory Keepers fan! Soraya here today to share a fun  tutorial to make a home decor using the Precision Press Advanced and an floral Layered Stamp.

Fall Home Decor by Soraya Maes for We R Memory Keepers

The Precision Press Advanced is the perfect tool to create layered stamps with various colors! I decided to go with this floral pattern to make my home decor. Each stamp is used with the ink pad set CMYK which allows you to layer the colors from the lightest to the darkest. CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. They are used in traditional printing precesses to achieve a full range of colors.

Use the grid on the Acrylic Stamping Block to place your stamp then use the same measure to place the others. So fun! And look how the final print is texturized!

We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced + CMYK Stamps

Repeat the process once again then cut out the flowers with the Detail Scissors. Both prints will be stuck one to another.

To make a lot of small fall leaves, I used a clear stamp that I placed on an acrylic block with coral/orange ink. Once they dried well, I cut them all out with my small scissors.

Since my home decor will be on a bamboo circle, I decided to make the tittle using the Happy Jig with the pink gold wire. I left some free wire on both ends to attach on the bamboo circle.

Time to assemble and decorate it! First of all I used my mini glue gun to place the ribbon all around the bamboo circle. Then, I glued the previously stamped flowers and leaves on it. And finally I added some resin flowers and completed the tittle  “Time to FALL in Love”. And voilà!

Stamped Card Set

Hello, We R fans! Enza back with you to share a set of cards created with the Precision Press Advanced. I know I say it all the time, but this is another of those tools you need in your stash, especially if stamping is your thing. It makes it easier to work with layered stamps, and is great to create repeated patterns.

My cards today feature a circular design that came together in no time.

Stamped Card Set by Enza Gudor for We R Memory Keepers featuring the Precision Press Advanced

I started by trimming my card panel to measure 5.5 inch square. I like to be able to resize it if needed, so I always make it a little bigger than my card base. I then positioned my stamp in the center with the help of the grid design on the acrylic stamping block.

Precision Press Advanced by We R Memory Keepers with Vicki Boutin Stamps

Next, I used a smaller stamp to create a wreath all the way around the main image.

We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced with Vicki Boutin Stamps

Again I positioned it on my panel, pressed the top down, and turned the block four times without moving the paper. I then arranged the stamp again, and filled the empty spots with a lighter color of ink.

Stamped Card Set by Enza Gudor for We R Memory Keepers featuring the Precision Press Advanced

It was so easy and fast, that I stamped another panel with a different color combination.

Stamped Card Set by Enza Gudor for We R Memory Keepers featuring the Precision Press Advanced

For one of the cards, I decided to stamp and heat-emboss my sentiment directly in the center.

Since I’m a big fan of dimensional elements, I wanted something that popped a bit more. I stamped a few more of the smaller flowers in a matching color, die cut them with the coordinating dies that come in the Vicki Boutin set I used, and adhered them down with foam adhesive. Black splatters finished the cards.

Make a Planner Spread with the Journal Guide

Hello everyone and welcome to the We R blog! It’s Eva Pizarro here today sharing a Planner Spread using my new Journal Guide tool.

Planner Spread with the Journal Guide by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

If you are a Planner Lover then this little tool is about to become your best friend! You can make check boxes, bullets, banners, use it as a ruler and create the most stunning goal trackers thanks to its unique rotating guide.

I am a simple planner kind of girl, so I used the Journal Guide on my daily spreads to add check boxes and create banners to highlight the most important events of the week.

Planner Spread with the Journal Guide by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

The check boxes are always a must on my spreads and I love that I can make 3 or 6 check boxes and they are always perfectly aligned.

I also used the circle guide to create a small circle on each corner on my Planner to add the current week

Another tool that is ideal for your planner is the Word Punch Board. Most of the time I use it to add a main event or a sentiment like I did on this particular spread.

On the back of each month I created a Goal Tracker with my goals for the month. Last month my goals were to become more healthy and this month I am focusing on my spirituality.

I used the circle guide feature to add 3 concentric circles. It is super simple: just put your pen on one of the guides and rotate it!

Planner Spread with the Journal Guide by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

I divided my circles on 30 sections (one for each day) and added a legend on the bottom. The Journal Guide has a rounded angle and a banner section so you can create the round boxes and the banner too!

One of the things I love the most is that is very portable and fits inside my tiny planner. I usually leave it on the back next to my Heidi Swapp Stickers (You can remove the pages from the sticker pad and add them into your planner!)

Are you a Planner Girl? What would you use the Journal Guide for?

DIY Planner/Journal Clips

Hi all!  Rebecca with you today, back for my second We R post.  I’m giving you a peek into my Inspiration journal today, which is what I use to keep track of my “current favorites,” whether they be colors, tools, supplies, or just about anything else I use in paper crafting.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

The main tool I used today was the Journal Guide, and I used it both on and ‘off’ the pages!  It’s a handy tool for drawing circles, banners, and lists right on your pages, but you can also use it for creating pockets, which is what I did.  Then I took those pockets and turned them into clips, allowing me to move them around, add to them, and remove them from the book for easier note-taking.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

It’s really easy to create the pockets.  I used Amy Tangerine patterned papers trimmed down to 5” W x 3” H, and 5” W x 4” H. Then you simply fold them around the long end of the Guide and tape closed.  To seal the bottom of the pocket, fold a portion of the bottom edge up and tape again.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

I added some simple embellishments using the Journal Guide.  This time I used the pointed arrow stencils to create banners out of paper scraps—even glitter paper!  I chose how long I wanted them to be, traced them out, and cut.  I used the WRMK Trim and Score Board to cut the straight edge lines and trimmed the others with my Crafter’s Small Precision Scissors.  It was pretty easy, too!

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

After adhering the banners to the front of my smaller pocket, I turned it over and glued a paper clip to the back.  (But not before I added a lavender tassel to the clip!  I made this in less than 2 minutes using the Tassel Loom, and it’s such a cute addition to my pocket clip!)

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

You can choose the placement that works best for you for your paperclip; I wanted this pocket to go on the right-hand pages of my journal.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

The large journal pocket is also clipped on; however, I chose not to glue the paperclip to this one.  Instead, I used it as the paperclip is intended, securing it to the page by sliding the clip down the backside of the pocket.  It works either way, but it means I can change it out easier if I want to switch colors or patterned papers.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory KeepersDIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

Inside the pockets are samples of trims I use frequently on projects—thread, tulle, and seam binding.  I put them on white cards and (to me) it’s aesthetically appealing—the different textures, order, and soft hues.  The colors were guided by the design on my journal pages and it’s a palette I’ve wanted to work with for several months.  With my cute pocket clips, I can keep these tactile bits on hand and get them out when I’m in need of inspiration.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory KeepersDIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

I used the Journal Guide again to make some short lists so I don’t forget what I want to do with these trims and to keep a few notes on the colors.  I can go back later and add my favorite embroidery floss color numbers, seam binding names, thread spool skews, etc.

We R Memory Keepers Journal GuideDIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

Just for fun, I made one last clip with the Guide.  I created a long banner with glitter and patterned papers, tracing them using the bracket stencils again.  I spelled ‘TRIMS’ with the Word Punch Board and after adhering the papers together, I affixed them to another paper clip and attached it to my journal spread.

DIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory KeepersDIY Planner Clip by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory KeepersWe R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board

The Journal Guide came in so handy for this project and having these clip-on pockets that can easily be moved around is a must for the convenience factor.  I can’t wait to refer back to these pages again and again when I need color inspiration or a reminder about different trims and finishes to use.  I’ll definitely be making more pockets and pages like this for other color palettes, too!  What fun things would you put in YOUR pocket clips?

Monthly Planner Dashboard

Hey there We R readers! Laura here today sharing how to create a monthly planner dashboard you can use each month with your planner. Dashboards can be used to hold important information you need to see at a glance, or to divide up your planner.

Monthly Planner Dashboard by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I started by cutting apart a fun Crate Paper calendar sheet that had all 12 months of calendars on one page.

We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board

I used a 4” x 6” waterfall photo sleeve and placed the calendar inside towards the bottom. The fuse tip on the wood burning USB tool works perfectly to create a pocket for the calendar to sit inside. I left the left side of the pocket open to be able to change out the calendar each month.

We R Memory Keepers USB Power Fuse Tool

Next, I punched holes in the side of the pocket using the planner punch board. I used the guide on the bottom of the board to determine where to place the standard hold punches for my Heidi Swapp planner. If you are having trouble punching through the plastic, place a sheet of paper underneath it before punching.

We R Memory Keepers Planner Punch Board

I added some iridescent glitter and rainbow party confetti into the top pocket and then fused the side closed. Make sure to fuse it closed on the opposite side of the hole punches so that the glitter doesn’t fall out from where it is punched.

The label maker is perfect for creating a fun dimensional label on the pocket. I used a pretty pink label tape and the sans serif font wheel to type out THIS MONTH. I cut a V shape on each side of the label and attached it to the front of the pocket.

We R Memory Keepers Label It label maker

I fused some FUSEables die cuts to the front of the pocket. I added a coordinating butterfly and a heart.

To make sure the plastic doesn’t tear from repeated use, I added some cardstock hole reinforcers to either side of the dashboard for all four holes using some adhesive and the hole reinforcer punch.

We R Memory Keepers Hole Reinforcer Punch

This planner dashboard is so fun to look at the start of each month.

3 Gift Wrap Ideas for Treats

Hello We R friends, it’s Aly here! One of my favorite things to gift during the holidays is baked goods and treats. Today I’ve got three gift wrap ideas for edible gifts. These goodie bags are unique, easy to make, and will leave your recipient with a smile.

Halloween Gift Wrap Ideas by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers

My gift wrap is Halloween themed, but you can modify yours to fit the holidays or any other occasion you need. Just change the colors, the sentiment, and the wrapping paper or patterned paper.

Halloween Gift Wrap Ideas by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers

I started by making a simple Goodie Bag using the Goodie Bag Guide and some holiday Glassine Papers.

step out 1

I followed the instructions that come with the Goodie Bag Guide, filled it with some fall colored candy, and embellished it with some DIY tassels I made with the Stitch Happy Metallic Thread and the Tassel Loom. Tip: I used a small scrap of Happy Jig wire to create the metal rings for my bitty tassels.

step out 3

Next I used the 123 Punch Board to create a small String Tie Box to hold some sweets. I followed the instruction booklet that comes with the board to make the tie box, and used the measurements on the board to make this 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 inch box.

Halloween Gift Wrap Ideas by Aly Dosdall 4

I made a simple sentiment with the Word Punch Board and then added a handmade bow that I made with some Stitch Happy Thread and the Bow Loom.

We R Memory Keepers Word Punch BoardWe R Memory Keepers Bow Loom

Last I made an easy Treat Pouch with the DIY Party Board and Patterned Paper from the Crate Paper Wild Heart collection.

Halloween Gift Wrap Ideas by Aly Dosdall for We R Memory Keepers

Tip: I like to use my USB Power Hot Glue Gun for 3D and folded paper projects because it holds my projects securely.

We R Memory Keepers DIY Party Board and USB Power Mini Glue Gun

To embellish the treat pouch I made a mini pom pom with the small DIY Party Pom Pom Maker and some black Stitch Happy Thread. I love the more ragged look of a thread/floss pom pom for Halloween!

A tool that I often combine with my Word Punch Board is the Washi Chomper. They’re the perfect pair for making banner shaped sentiments and words!
