Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced Accessories

Hello and welcome. It’s me, Steffi and I’m showing you a layout of me today. This I have created with the great Precision Press Advanced and the Pattern Block & Stamps. A tool to stamp precise and exact images every time. The acrylic plate has grooves. In it the letters can be placed exactly and do not slip. I think that’s great. One can stamp several times and the stamp does not slip. That doesn’t work so well with a normal acrylic block.

Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Steffi Ried for We R Memory Keepers

I also think it’s great that so many letters are present several times in the alphabet. So you can stamp several words and texts at the same time. I think that’s great. It makes it a lot easier.

Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Steffi Ried for We R Memory Keepers

First I painted the white cardstock (9×12 inch) with acrylic paint. After the paint had dried, I stamped on it. I used the Precision Press Advanced with the Pattern Block & Stamps. The patterned motifs are great for beautiful backgrounds. I used the feathers. I stamped directly on the cardstock and a few feathers on vellum paper. I cut them out and glued them to the layout with glue dots. So it gets more dimension.

Then I stamped the title with a black ink stamp pad.

Below the photo I used some more patterns from the Pattern Block & Stamps. The stamps are very versatile. Then I added the photo with stickers and paper from the Crate Paper La La Love collection.

2018 Year in Review Scrapbook Page

Hello everyone! It’s Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a layout using some tools from our Journal Studio line.

2018 Year In Review Scrapbook Page featuring the Journal Studio by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

The Journal Studio line is perfect for planning but you can also use most of the tools for scrapbooking layouts, mini albums and more! For this layout I used my Magnetic Alpha Stencils to create the month names and my Book Binding Guide to create a frame for my layout.

The Book Binding Guide comes with a Booklet with several Japanese bindings, I used one of those guides to punch holes on the border of my layout. Because the 12 x 12 sheet is longer than the tool I simply unscrew the top of the tool and slide the page to have full coverage.

To create my month titles I used my  Alpha Stencils. They are magnetic so you don’t have to worry about the guides moving! And there are Icons Stencils also! You should check them out!

You can use any pencil you like, I used my son’s markers to make the titles.

We R Memory Keepers Magnetic Stencils

To create my journaling guides I used my Mini Magnetic Mat, I love this little tool and it is my go to tool when I need perfectly straight lines!

I stitched my Japanese binding border with colored threads and I really like the texture it gives to my page.

I completed my layout without using any supplies! Just a few tools, markers and thread.

2018 was  great a year for my family and I am counting on 2019 being a better one! I am glad I can keep all our highlight moments in just one page. How was your year? Are you making a year in review layout?

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page

Hello, hello!  It’s Rebecca here today and I can’t believe how close we are to Christmas!  I know it’s still 6 weeks away, but that 6 weeks goes by so fast!  For me, so many things get lost in the holiday hustle, so this year I’m making more of an effort to not let that happen.  I don’t do too much in the way of scrapbooking, but every now and then, something extra special transpires, and I’ll want to remember it (and my feelings about it) forever.

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

Last December, I was buried in work and trying to meet deadlines and my kids were driving me crazy!  I think they were arguing, then wrestling, then arguing, then high-pitched screaming.  I finally separated them and told them to do something creative.  My then-7-year-old son took it upon himself to write a letter to Santa Claus and when he showed it to me later that night, my heart melted.  I held onto this letter all year and as the kids have been talking about starting their letters to Santa early this year, I pulled it out and decided this was just the sort of thing I wanted to remember.

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

I scanned the original letter into the computer and shrunk it down just a bit with photo editing software, then re-printed it.  I did this because I wanted to make it a little smaller to work with my 12×12 patterned paper, and because I had the idea that I wanted it to be sticking out of an envelope.

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

How awesome is it that I could make my own envelope, in the size I wanted to use, with my 1-2-3 Punch Board?!  I could have used a boring long white envelope, but this way, I also got to use the patterned paper I wanted.

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

I followed the easy directions to create an envelope that was 4” W x 8” L from some Crate Paper Fa La La paper.  After assembling the envelope, I made an extra fold to the bottom flap, simply folding the top portion over to create a lower, flattened opening rather than the taller, pointed version.  This also allows for the addition of some extra embellishments in that space.

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

I backed the letter copy with red cardstock and slid it into the envelope, tucking various die cuts into the front of the envelope for more color.

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

Texture and dimension are often a key design element in whatever I’m creating, and that was no different here.  I ruffled gold and white crepe papers along the sides of the back of my letter/envelope ensemble, as well as scraps of gold crepe along the top and bottom edges.  Then I adhered it all to the green buffalo check base paper.

There were a few more small touches to put in place before my layout was complete; I jotted down the journaling part so I could indeed remember this moment—and my first instinct really was to go out that night and get my son ‘a cute litl pup’!  (But we didn’t, and we still don’t have a dog so…)

Holiday Themed Scrapbook Page by Rebecca Luminarias for We R Memory Keepers

Because this is a holiday layout, I thought it would be apropos to include a glittery ribbon bow and a tassel, both of which were easily made with We R Memory Keepers tools—the Bow and Tassel Looms, respectively.

Like I mentioned, I don’t do too much scrapbooking or memory keeping, but every time I do, I remember how fun and satisfying it is.  Just as I will get sentimental looking back at this page years from now, I’m sure my son will enjoy it, too…but I doubt it will make up for the fact that Santa did not bring him a puppy that Christmas!

Our Favorite Colors: Mixed Media Scrapbook Page

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with the new Precision Press Advanced. I bet you were expecting a stamped card from me, weren’t you? Surprise! It’s a layout! But guess what? I did stamp on it and had a blast! The We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced has some fantastic features that are going to make stamping on any project easy!

Stamps and paints from Vicki Boutin in some of  my favorite colors were going to make a great layout, especially when paired with some great tools!

We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced and Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Products from American Crafts

After painting lines on my mixed media paper, I placed it inside the Precision Press Advanced. The Press comes with two very strong magnets, which was great for holding my paper flat. I placed my stamp onto my project, exactly where I wanted it to be located. I placed clear, plastic grid piece of the Press on top, using the pegs as a guide. When I gently pushed down, the stamp clung to the plastic.

The stamp was covered in paint, using a foam brush. Then I placed the clear, plastic grid piece back on top. The image will stamp perfectly in place, because the peg guides line everything up. The absolute best part about this is, if I did not get enough paint (or ink if you were regularly stamping), I can add more and it will stamp precisely a second time. No missing. No double lines! Yay!

The clear, plastic grid piece of the Press can also be used individually. Making it a fantastic tool for scrapbookers! I wanted to stamp a small feather on the layout, including layer it over an edge of paper. I placed my stamp on the clear, plastic grid piece, added paint, and then stamped wherever I desired. The clear, plastic grid piece has these lovely foam feet that help make a solid impression.

We R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board

For some finishing touches, I grabbed a few more of my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools. Especially this brand-new tool, the Word Punch Board.

We R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board

After painting a piece of mixed media paper, I lined up and punched the words out for my title. Such a great look!

We R Memory Keepers Stylus Tool

I love the look of splatter on projects, but honestly, it completely freaks me out to create. I am always afraid I will ruin my project. I solved my fear with one of the We R Memory Keepers Embossing Stylus Tools. Simply dip the end in paint and apply to you project. Apply it to your project more than once before adding more paint and you can get various sized dots. Controlled and exactly where you want them.

Word Punch Board Layout

Hello everyone!  It’s Eva  on the blog today sharing colorful layout using the new Word Punch Board.

Word Punch Board Layout by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

As soon as I saw the Word Punch Board I knew it would be one of my favorite tools, you can do so many things with it: make titles, journaling, tags and even use the punched letters to embellish a card or make a subtitle.

To create this layout I cut a few 5/8 inch strips of paper with my Trim and Score Board, I used some of my favorite Bazzill cardstock in coordinating colors.

Trim and Score Board by We R Memory Keepers

Next I placed all my elements of my layout in order to have an idea of how much journaling I could write on my strips of paper. I made marks with a pencil on all the edges of my strips.

Word Punch Board Layout by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

I used my Word Punch Board to punch my journaling. Between words I left 3 small marks and I also added double sided tape to my strips before punching.

I used the punched letters to create a subtitle for my layout, the letters already had the double sided tape on the back so it was easy to place them using my Sticky Piercer.

To finish my layout, I embellished it with some die cuts and stickers from the My Bright Life Collection by Pebbles Inc. The strips were very colorful so I added only a few pops of color here and there.

The journaling strips turned out beautiful! Just like I imagined them! To add an extra touch back the strips with colored cardstock.

Travel Layout with the Happy Jig

Happy Independence Day to our US friends. We’ve got a little housekeeping to take care of today. We’re sad to say goodbye to team member Nancy Damiano, and we wish her the very best. Please welcome our new team member, Enza Gudor!

Hello, crafty friends! Enza here and I’m thrilled to share my very first post on the We R Memory Keepers blog! This is a dream come true for me. I have always loved the fun and versatile tools they come up with, and am looking forward to sharing more of my projects with you.

Today I have a travel layout featuring the amazing Happy Jig. This tool is a must-have! You can make any design or shape with it, and it sure gives your scrapbook pages a unique and fun look.

Travel Layout with the Happy Jig by Enza Gudor for We R Memory Keepers

I knew I wanted a big title for my page, so I started by creating my own custom words. I took inspiration from some of the letters in the instruction booklet that comes with the tool, as well as the We R Happy Jig Instagram account. Once you figure out how it works, it is pretty easy to make any shape you can think of. The wire is flexible and easy to work with, and all the different colors are perfect to personalize your projects. It’s also nice that you can vary the size of the letters, allowing for lots of options.

Happy Jig by We R Memory Keepers

I picked blue and pink wire for this page. I actually made the words before even choosing a collection to work with. I was that excited to use my new toy!

Travel Layout with the Happy Jig by Enza Gudor for We R Memory Keepers

To keep the words in place, I just hand-stitched them with embroidery thread. I have tried other options, but this worked best for me.

The other tool I used for this layout is the Tag Punch Board – another essential if you ask me. I love adding tags to my projects whenever I can, and this makes it super easy and fast.

Here I used the tags as layering elements behind my photos.

If you are looking for ways to personalize your pages and make them unique, you don’t want to pass on these fantastic tools. The possibilities are endless.

Create a Patriotic Layout with the Precision Press Advanced

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with a patriotic layout. Its no secret how much I love to stamp and with the new We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced, I can stamp easily on my layouts! Yes!

Patriotic Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Kimberly Crawford

Because I did not have any specific supplies to the 4th of July, I got creative with what I had on hand. And in doing that, I created a layout I love! Just look at that custom star paper I was able to create!

Patriotic Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Kimberly Crawford

To make the custom paper, I cut a piece of Bazzill Blue cardstock to fit the top of my layout. I grabbed a star background stamp and white paint. I placed the cling stamp on my Precision Press Advanced. Notice how its only the top clear piece? You can use that piece separately! It has soft feet in all four corners allowing you to stamp just about anywhere. Paint was brushed onto my image and I stamped repeatedly across my blue cardstock. Vicki Boutin’s paints are perfect for this application as they dry quickly on paper.

Patriotic Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Kimberly Crawford

For the bottom of my layout, I created stripes from red cardstock using my Trim & Score Board.

Patriotic Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Kimberly Crawford

To help line my stripes up precisely, I used my Template Studio mat to help out. With help from the guides on the mat, I could space the stripes apart evenly and keep the lines straight. Which is good, because I not good at getting things to line up correctly. Ha!

Patriotic Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Kimberly Crawford

After adding a few die cut stars and other embellishments, I added a title using, you guessed it, stamps!

Patriotic Scrapbook Page with the Precision Press Advanced by Kimberly Crawford

Once again, I used the top piece of the Precision Press Advanced only. I placed my letter and number stamps directly on my layout (without inking). This way, I could line my stamps up on my project, exactly how I desired. Then I placed the Precision Press clear plate over the top, pushed down, and picked up my stamps. Then it was time to add ink and stamp for real. Oh, how easy this was! And I was not concerned about “messing it up” because I knew everything was aligned.
