Document Your Travels with a Pocket Page

Hi We R Memory Keepers fans! Soraya here to share a pocket page inspiration today using some fun tools like the Confetti Punch, the new USB Power Heat Tool and the Alphabet Punch Board. I will also play with the cute paper pad “No Prob Llama”.

To make the title card, I used the Airbrush with a pink marker and a banner for a soft messy background. Then I created the letter E with the Alphabet Punch Board and decorated all around, using the E as the first letter of our destination: Eze Village.

The paper pad is so cute that I couldn’t help myself cutting out the designs. This is what I did with this set of cactus plants with my Detail Scissors. Then I placed it on another patterned paper, I love how it turned, it looks like a whole new card!

Let’s make a shaker pocket with a piece of vellum that I used as a journaling card. I chose vellum since it’s easy and fun to see through with all the confetti! The Typecast machine ads more authenticity to the pocket. I made all the fun confetti with the Confetti Punch, you should definitely try this one! The new USB Power Tool is awesome, I closed the pocket with it making a double line. Love the stitching effect !

And voilà! The pocket page is done! It’s such a fun way to document my family travels and week-ends!

Pocket Page with the 3 Way Corner Punch

Hello We R Memory Keepers fans! Soraya here with you today for another fun project. I’m so excited to introduce you a new release: the 3 Way Corner Punch! I made this pocket page with this great tool and some others of my favorite products you already know: the Square Punch Board, the Mini Alphabet Punch Board, the Fuse Tool and the new Trim & Score Board! Here we go!

Pocket Page by Soraya Maes for We R Memory Keepers

First of all, I used the Square Punch Board to prepare the papers that I will need to create the letters. So I cut 4 rectangles (2.5 x 1.5 inch) in a row! So easy! (See my previous tutorial using the fabulous Square Punch Board.)

Then I grabbed my Mini Alphabet Punch Board and created the letters L, V, and E for the word LOVE. I followed the instructions that are in the guide book and shaped the letter V with my Stitch Happy scissors.

I decided to divide the first pocket in 4 parts in order to place the letters L, O, V and E, and create 4 shaker sleeves with my wonderful Fuse Tool. I started to place the letter V on the bottom left, add some sequins then fused it all. I repeated the process four times and I added at last a heart to replace the letter O. I just love how it turned!

Extra tip: use the grid on the Fuse mat to place your ruler. You will get nice straight line!

The Bloom Storage is absolutely perfect to gather my Valentine supplies, and it’s so beautiful too. I couldn’t resist to store my We R sequins on the top!

I divided the second pocket in 2 parts and fused it in the middle. I used the new Trim & Score Board to cut the paper triangles. Love this design as well!

With the new 3 Way Corner Punch, I rounded the corners of my 3 cards. We can say that this punch is genius since it offers you 3 different sizes: 4mm, 7mm and 10mm. For the big cards, I chose the large 10mm size.

I also rounded the top corners (7mm) of this cute diecut before sticking it to the card! You can even punch little pieces of embellishments with the 3 Way Corner Punch: it’s comfortable, light and easy to press!

For the other cards, I punched them with the 4mm size. I love how the corners of my photos are shaped like this!

Shaker Pocket Page with the Fuse

Hello We R Memory Keepers fans! Soraya here with you today to talk about pocket pages, and share with you some tips and tricks to use your favorite tools and embellishments to showcase your photos in a very cool way!

Shaker Pocket Page by Soraya Maes for We R Memory Keepers

If it’s the first time you’re diving into the pocket page world, here are some product ideas that will perfectly fit: I used the amazing FUSEables embellishments, some washi tape, sequins, colorful papers and some We R Memory Keepers journaling cards.

So here are some fun tips for you to create: my journaling is made with the fabulous Typecast. I love the vintage touch it gives to the pockets!

Use your Staple Punch Board to get extra dimension while assembling the die cuts together !

When using the Fuse Tool, the Laser Square will be perfect to guide you! All you have to do is placing the Fuse Mat just under the pocket page before starting fusing!

Use the Laser Square to get straight lines with your Fuse tool.

You can place the FUSEables embellishments directly on the pocket page ! Plus, you will get a beautiful stitch effect. Before closing the top of this section, insert some sparkles in it!

Play with layers and add more FUSEables diecuts !

Pocket Page by Soraya Maes for We R Memory Keepers

Geometric shapes can be fun too: for example in this pocket, I cut 2 patterned triangles and used my Fuse Tool to separate them. I also placed some FUSEables die cuts on the top of the pocket for the final touch.

And for this last pocket I separated it in three parts: one for the photo, one for the sequins and one more for the journaling part. The Fuse Tool is so awesome for that! Feel free to compose your pocket page the way you want!

Fuse Pocket Page

Hello!  Jennie McGarvey here and I’m excited to share another pocket page from my 2015 album with you!

pocketpagejenniemcgarvey1

For this week, I decided I wanted to go with a colorful page, since it’s spring and life feels particularly vibrant!  So, I gathered some It Factor items because the fun colors and images fit exactly the mood I was trying to convey.  I also needed to pull out last weeks page, because I would be using the backside of the page for this week.  (As you might recall, last week I had used the Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool and divided up some 4×6 photo slots to include 2×2 cards and sequins.)

pocketpage_jenniemcgarvey2

Now that I had the It Factor Journaling cardsIt Factor Printed Wood Veneer Stickers, It Factor Acrylic Shapes and It Factor 6×6 Paper Pad all ready to go, I could start creating.

pocketpagejenniemcgarvey3

I like to keep my pages fairly simple, because our lives are very busy and the photos often reflect that.  Therefore, keeping the pages simple doesn’t make the overall page feel busy.  I like to use handwritten journaling also for simplicity, as there is no other tool to incorporate into my creating.  To most photos or journaling cards I might add a simple embellishment or printed label from my stash.

pocketpagejenniemcgarvey4

pocketpagejenniemcgarvey5

The It Factor Printed Wood Veneer stickers and It Factor Acrylic Shapes are perfect on my simple pages.  They add some fun embellishing, but aren’t too much busy-ness on the page, which fits right into my overall plan for my pocket album.

pocketpagejenniemcgarvey1

The most fun part of this page?  The fun divided pockets I created for the previous week with the Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool!  I created those squares FOR that previous week, but the awesomeness carries over to this week!

I hope you’ve picked up a few ideas to incorporate into your own pocket pages.  Make sure to share what you’ve created with us on the We R Memory Keepers Facebook page!

It’s your blog hostess Aly Dosdall here joining you for Fuse Week! I kinda want to make a million of these for every celebration now. Check out these Celebration Pocket Cupcake Picks I made with The Fuse and some 2×2 Waterfall Sleeves! photo sleeve fuse confetti pocket cupcake toppers_close   The next project I made with my Fuse is a custom pocket page Beach Layout. Custom Pocket Page With The Fuse

We scrapbookers get to enjoy a lot of fun celebrations in the spring–March is National Craft Month, in early May it’s National Scrapbook Day, and May is also National Photo Month! We already had an awesome party with you all for National Scrapbook Day, so in honor of National Photo Month we’ll be featuring projects with photos all week long. Enjoy!

Hello, We R Memory Keepers fans!  Jennie McGarvey here today to share a pocket page I created.

jenniemcgarveypocketpage1

I was very excited to use the The Fuse for the first time. I knew it was going to be so fun create custom pockets and it was!  I kinda want to ignore all of the rest of the things and just FUSE!

I sat down with the Fuse, plus fun bits and pieces from my stash, the Teresa Collins Studio Gold Albums Made Easy Journaling Cards 3×4 and the Teresa Collins Studio Gold Journaling Cards.

jenniemcgarveypocketpage2

The first thing I did was take two of the 4×6” slots and put a 4×4 Studio Gold card in one and a 4×4 photo in the other.

jenniemcgarveypocketpage3

Once I finished that, I used the Fuse tool to take the other 2×4 section and create 2 2×2 spots perfect for a Studio Gold card + some loose sequins.

Designer Tip: For best results, use the Fuse Tool in a slow and steady manner.  Too slowly and you’ll melt more than you need.  If you go to quickly, you will not seal the pockets fully.

jenniemcgarveypocketpage4

Once I was finished Fusing (I wasn’t sure I would ever finish I had such fun!  I kind of wanted to Fuse all of the things!) I was left to fill the rest of the pockets with cards, photos and embellishments.

jenniemcgarveypocketpage5

I’ve already created another pocket page on the backside of this page, because it’s just so much fun!  Have you used your Fuse tool yet?  Make sure to tag We R Memory Keepers on Instagram or upload your projects to our Facebook page.  We love to see how you are using our products!
