Shaped Christmas Card Set

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with fun, festive, and handmade cards for the holidays! Everyone loves to make (and get) a handmade card in the mail, but during the holidays, our time is at a premium. Once again, We R Memory Keepers is bringing us a tool that saves time and makes us look good! The Circle Spin & Trim is a tool that makes creating circles of just about any size a snap! Smooth and easy to use, check out how I used it on these ornament cards.

Making these cards took so little time. And how cute are they? Not your everyday Christmas card, that is for sure!

The blades for the Circle Spin & Trim sit in the top of the tool. Love the on-board storage and the fact that there are two blades! To cut, one blade easily twists into the guides on the center of the tool. You can choose from so many different sizes!

After the blade is inserted, place your paper inside the Circle Spin & Trim. Firmly close the lid. See the piece that looks like a “Sorry” game board piece? It’s the handle. Simply turn the handle and it will cut your circle.

I cut out circles from green, red, aqua, and pink cardstock. Two for each card-for a front and back.

On one set of circles, I stamped and heat embossed the word joy. On the others, I added layers of stripes, created with white cardstock.

To make the ornament hanger, I trimmed silver glitter cardstock to size. (approximately 1” x 1”) I scored each piece of glitter cardstock in half, adhering one side to each piece of cardstock.

To have a place to “hang” the ornament from, I used my We R Memory Keepers Reinforcer Hole Punch. Punching the rings from the same silver glitter cardstock. Each ring was glued to the top, as shown.

On the inside of each card, I added another circle, one that was the next size smaller. Look at that perfect layering! Yay! The circle gave me a place to write some quick words.

After making these, I had so many more ideas! Wouldn’t it be cute to place a photo on the inside, above the writing? Oooh, and these would make adorable tags on Christmas gifts. Or just to use as ornaments themselves! What will you make with your Circle Spin & Trim?

Holiday Planner

Hey there, We R readers, Laura here today! I love binders, organizing, and planning. Writing everything out on paper gets it all out of my head and makes me feel like I have it all together. A few years ago, I created a regular sized 3-ring holiday binder. I leave it at home, but sometimes I need some of the information while I am out. I thought it would be fun to create a portable holiday planner I can take with me.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I started by using a Heidi Swapp memory planner. I took out all the months except for November and December. I added the dates to the calendar, so I can keep track of all our holiday plans for these two months.

Then, I created some dividers out of heavy cardstock. I used the tab punch board to create tabs on each one. I used the planner punch board to punch the holes in the dividers. I love that I can use the planner punch board for all my planners that each have a different hole pattern on the side.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I wanted the stability and weight of cardstock for the dividers, but plain cardstock can be kind of boring. I added some fun word art from the DCWV Christmas Stack. I adhered them using my tape runner and then added a little glitter tape for some sparkle. For the front page of the binder I also added the year with gold thickers.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I trimmed some plain white copy paper to size and then used the planner punch board to punch holes in the pages. The All in One Journal Tool is perfect for creating lists in my planner. I created a gift list using the checkboxes and lines. It is thin enough, I can slip it in the pocket of the planner for on the go.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I also created lined paper using the All in One Journal Tool and the gridded clipboard of the travel workspace to create some lined paper for my to do list.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

For the gift section I thought it would be helpful to create a little pocket I could slip receipts into. I like to keep all my holiday receipts together, so I can track my budget, plus I have them in case of returns. I trimmed my paper to twice the width of a normal page in the planner. I used the trim and score board to score a line down the middle. I folded it in half, and then trimmed some of the excess paper along the top on the back to make it easier to slip the receipts in and out.

We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board

I used the hole reinforcer punch to create some coordinating hole reinforcements. This envelope will get more use than other pages, and this will help to keep it lasting all season long.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

Each section of the planner has a specific purpose. The front calendar section will help me keep track of our holiday plans. I can also add dates as I get them, so I don’t overbook our holiday.

The next section is for to dos and lists. I always think of things while I am out and this way, I can keep a running to do list in one convenient spot.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I can add my gift lists to the next section, so I always have them with me when I am shopping.

The little envelope is perfect for storing receipts on the go. I love the little “Do not open until December 25th” card I found in the Christmas Stack.

Lastly, I have a place to keep my holiday menu plans and grocery lists. I am going to make another little envelope like the one for the receipts to hold coupons at the front of this section.

Holiday Planner by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

To label the tabs, I simply wrote on each one with a metallic marker.

I love that I can take this little planner with me. I can add to it all season long and it will be a helpful reference for next year to make planning for the holidays even easier!

Gratitude Jar

Hello everyone! Welcome to the We R blog! It’s Eva Pizarro here today sharing how to turn a common mason jar into a Gratitude Jar with the help of your favorite We R tools.

Grateful Jar by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

Gratitude is a beautiful virtue and what better way to practice it than with a Gratitude Jar? You can use it with your family or to give to a friend during this holiday season. I decorated the jar and the lid and also hung a tag with a few papers for writing down things you’re grateful for.

Grateful Jar by Eva Pizarro for We R Memory Keepers

To make the tag I cut some 2×3 plain copy paper and then used the Perforate blade on my Dial Trimmer to make them tearable.

Dial Trimmer by We R Memory Keepers

I stapled my paper together with The Staple Board set at “L” for large, and then glued this pad of paper to a tag.

Staple Board by We R Memory Keepers

The tag has a scallop border made with the Dial Trimmer and I used the Reinforce Hole Punch to decorate it.

The jar is just a common mason jar that has a Thickers phrase attached. I love these pink Thickers from The Heart of Home Collection by Pebbles. Aren’t they super cute?

Finally, to decorate the lid I used some papers from the same collection and a heart I made using my Heart Clear Cut Punch. You can punch anywhere on the page and align everything perfectly. I love these punches!

Have you ever made a Grateful Jar? You can start this year! Teach your kids that you can find a reason to be grateful everyday.

Add Memorabilia to Your Planner with the Planner Punch Board

Hello We R Memory Keepers fans! Soraya here today to talk about one of the most amazing tools for planner addicts like me: the Planner Punch Board! You can add as many pages as you want, you can insert homemade dividers, photo pages, various documents… with only one tool! Let’s collect our memorabilia and let’s fill our planners with what makes us happy!

Memory Planner with the Planner Punch Board by Soraya Maes for We R Memory Keepers

I’m using the Heidi Swapp mini Memory Planner but as you can see, the Planner Punch board can be used with any planner! So smart! Just give a look at the chart (behind the tool) and find your planner reference to know exactly where you’ll need to place the little punches.

Once you’re ok with the settings, just place your piece of paper (mine measures 17cm x 9cm) on the Planner Punch Board. You will need to line up the paper against the guide on the left edge. Then punch it. So easy and perfectly adapted to your planner!

We R Memory Keepers Planner Punch Board

To give a lovely finished look, I love using the Hole Reinforcer Punch. The kraft paper is the perfect color to contrast with the page and it’s a nice fall color too.

You can also add more cards to your planner thanks to the Planner Punch Board. It’s fun to fussy cut the cards you have on some 12×12 papers.

Collect your memories by adding your kids drawings into your planner! I love how my daughter draws horses, she’s always making art for me and I just can’t throw them away. So I decided to collect them by trimming the papers and using the Planner Punch Board to keep them forever!

Monthly Planner Dashboard

Hey there We R readers! Laura here today sharing how to create a monthly planner dashboard you can use each month with your planner. Dashboards can be used to hold important information you need to see at a glance, or to divide up your planner.

Monthly Planner Dashboard by Laura Silva for We R Memory Keepers

I started by cutting apart a fun Crate Paper calendar sheet that had all 12 months of calendars on one page.

We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board

I used a 4” x 6” waterfall photo sleeve and placed the calendar inside towards the bottom. The fuse tip on the wood burning USB tool works perfectly to create a pocket for the calendar to sit inside. I left the left side of the pocket open to be able to change out the calendar each month.

We R Memory Keepers USB Power Fuse Tool

Next, I punched holes in the side of the pocket using the planner punch board. I used the guide on the bottom of the board to determine where to place the standard hold punches for my Heidi Swapp planner. If you are having trouble punching through the plastic, place a sheet of paper underneath it before punching.

We R Memory Keepers Planner Punch Board

I added some iridescent glitter and rainbow party confetti into the top pocket and then fused the side closed. Make sure to fuse it closed on the opposite side of the hole punches so that the glitter doesn’t fall out from where it is punched.

The label maker is perfect for creating a fun dimensional label on the pocket. I used a pretty pink label tape and the sans serif font wheel to type out THIS MONTH. I cut a V shape on each side of the label and attached it to the front of the pocket.

We R Memory Keepers Label It label maker

I fused some FUSEables die cuts to the front of the pocket. I added a coordinating butterfly and a heart.

To make sure the plastic doesn’t tear from repeated use, I added some cardstock hole reinforcers to either side of the dashboard for all four holes using some adhesive and the hole reinforcer punch.

This planner dashboard is so fun to look at the start of each month.

My Top 3 Favorite Craft Tools by Soraya

Hi everybody ! Soraya here today to share 3 of my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools : the Happy Jig, the 1-2-3 Punch Board and the Hole Reinforcer Punch ! Let’s start with the Happy Jig.

We R Memory Keepers Happy Jig

How amazing is this tool that allows you to create any word you want ?! I just love how versatile it is since you can decorate any project thanks to its colorful wires. It’s very delightful to create with the Happy Jig, above all for my planner spreads and layouts. You can easily add more dimension and texture not to mention the multitude of shapes that you can make.

The 1-2-3 Punch Board is forever my favorite ! I’m a real lover for everything boxes ! Any occasion can be celebrated with party favor boxes or treat bags. Last year I made a hundred of mini boxes for my nephew baptism it was awesome to make them with this amazing Punch Board ! Halloween treats are also my favorite boxes to do (and the bows are so gorgeous too!).

Enza’s Top 3 Favorite Tools

Hello, We R fans. Enza here, and today I’m sharing three of my favorite tools. Let me start by saying it is impossible not to love every single one of them, as they are all useful, fun and easy to work with. Anything that can help me speed up the process while still giving me amazing results is a winner in my book. Plus, I’m often inspired by the variety and versatility of We R Memory Keepers tools.

The first tool I can’t live without is the 123 Punch Board. One of my passions is gift wrapping and pretty packaging, and lately I have discovered a love for card making, so this tool is perfect to create a variety of projects. You can make different type of boxes, bows, envelopes, envelope liners, and even file folder cards. I think every crafter needs this in their stash. All the instructions are already on the board, and you also get an Idea Book with step-by-step instructions that is really helpful. Super duper easy to use!

Here is an example of a String Tie Box I created with it:

My second favorite is a tool that I use for almost every project, and another essential in my stash. The Tag Punch Board is fun and very versatile; it is perfect to create gift tags, tag mini albums, layering elements for cards and scrapbook layouts, and more. What I love the most about this tool is that you can make tags in different sizes, up to 3.5” wide, and that it punches perfectly centered holes every time. To complete the look of my tags, I also use the Hole Reinforcer Punch, but that is just a preference.

Last, but definitely not least, is the Happy Jig. Such a clever idea! You can make unique and custom embellishments for scrapbook pages, cards, even home décor. It comes with wires in different colors, and the super helpful Instruction book, with step-by-step instructions for bending wire into letters, shapes, and words. Your imagination is the limit with this tool. I also love that you can store the pegs and the wire cutters in the base of the tool for easy organization.

Back to School Teacher Gift Idea

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with a teacher gift that is sure to leave everyone with smiles! Quick, easy, and thoughtful is the best kind of teacher gift you can make. Follow this fun idea and not only will it meet all those criteria, but the tools from We R Memory Keepers will make it fully customized, adding an extra-special finishing touch!

Back to School Teacher Gift Idea by Kimberly Crawford for We R Memory Keepers

This gift has a few parts to it, but my favorite is the smiley face emoji sticky-note pad! Yes, those smiling faces, while finishing the tag sentiment by saying, “All SMILES because you’re my teacher,” are also sticky notes! What teacher wouldn’t love to have those cute supplies on their desk?! I know this former teacher thinks they are fantastic!

Back to School Teacher Gift Idea by Kimberly Crawford for We R Memory Keepers

One tip to start, be sure and get the sticky notes that are completely backed in adhesive, not just on the top edge. This will make your notes stay together better.

Back to School Teacher Gift Idea by Kimberly Crawford for We R Memory KeepersEmoji Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers

I trimmed my sticky note paper down to the size for the Emoji Punch Board, which is 1.5” square. Then I proceeded to punch out the smiley face version. I love that they are so many faces to be made, but this worked for today’s project best. Stacking 3 notes together worked well while punching, more pieces of paper than that was too thick. As I finished punching each stack, I layered them together. Seriously fun and easy. This would be a great way to get your kiddo involved in crafting as well!

Back to School Teacher Gift Idea by Kimberly Crawford for We R Memory Keepers

To create a tag for the sticky notes, I used the Tag Punch Board to layer two cardstock tags together. On each of the tags, I stamped the sentiment using the Precision Press Advanced. Arranging the stamps on the press made it so that the sentiment could be stamped precisely on each tag, and if a mistake was made, another tag could be created easily. Not that I would know anything about that…

Accents of patterned paper from the DCWV Sweet and Sassy pad were added for color and fun.

Back to School Teacher Gift Idea by Kimberly Crawford for We R Memory Keepers

To personalize each jar, I punched a strip of patterned paper with the Word Punch Board. Adding each teacher’s name like this was not only easy, but it will help my kiddo remember whom to bring the gifts to as well. It also puts a name to the face of the person he must look at if he eats all the candy.

Summer Scrapbook Page

Hey there, We R Memory Keepers friends and fans, I’m Becki Adams here to share a layout with you that I created with a few of my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools. There are some tools that I always keep near my desk at my fingertips. The laser square is one tool that is always on my desk. My husband will tell you that I can’t measure or put items in a straight line to save my life. That’s why I love the Laser Square so much! It makes measuring and alignment a breeze.

Summer Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

One of my favorite “go to” designs is a grid. I love the clean simple lines of a grid layout.

On this “Summer in Central Park” layout I used four 4×3 photos in an offset grid design. The photos are in a straight line, but they are slightly of set from the other column. The Laser Square made it so easy to make sure that my photos were in a straight line especially on a solid background.

Summer Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

Another tool that I love and keep near my desk at all times is my Stitch Happy Sewing machine. I love the added detail that machine stitching gives my layouts. Thread/stitching is also a great “adhesive.” Once something is stitched onto a layout, there’s no worries of it falling off the layout after a long period of time. A layout that has machine stitching will always stay together.

Ever since I started scrapbooking years (and years) ago, I loved using tags. At first, I always purchased shipping tags at my local office supply store. Now that the Tag Punch Board is in my office, I’ve been making custom tags for all of my projects.

Summer Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

On this layout I made a custom tag for the title. It was fun to make the tag just the right size for the letter stickers. Of course, I didn’t forget the custom hole reinforcer that I punched out with my We R Memory Keepers Hole Reinforcer punch.

Graduation Scrapbook Page

Hey there, We R Memory Keepers friends and fans, Becki here to share with you a scrapbook page that I created with a few of my favorite tools. I’ve always been a memory keeper at heart. I LOVE photos and love pairing them with memories even more. I’m a traditional scrapbooker who loves lots of photos and lots of journaling. I gravitate toward tools that make creating even easier and more fun. I used a lot of We R Memory Keeper tools to create this layout.

It’s the season for graduation and with graduations comes a TON of photos. A couple of years ago my last little man graduated from Kindergarten. Of course, I was a teary mess as my little man, sang with is class, and received his diploma. My husband and I took turns taking photos. We have a few great photos of the day. I used three of these photos on this layout. I knew I wanted these three photos on the same layout (on a grid design) and I had quite a bit of journaling with each photo.

Graduation Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

Each photo is 3 ½ x 5” printed in black and white. The photos are printed in black and white because, well, the ceremony was in the school’s gym and the lighting was awful.  I laid the photos on a grid design using my Laser Square to line everything up. Once I had the placement of my photos figured out, I adhered the photos using strong double-sided tape along 3 sides of the photo. I left one side of the photo without adhesive so that I could slide a tag behind each photo for hidden journaling.

Graduation Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

The three tags that slide behind each photo are created with the tag punch board and the hole reinforcer punch. Tags are one of my favorite embellishments and I LOVE tucking them behind photos with additional photos and journaling. The tags are perfect for adding typed journaling which I did after I took the photos as there was personal information on them.

Graduation Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

The stars that are scattered throughout the layout are fussy cut with the new spring scissors. These are my new favorite scissors for fussy cutting. Fussy cutting is one of my favorite techniques. I’m thrilled to have a new favorite pair of scissors for all of my fussy cutting needs.

Graduation Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

To finish the layout and make sure that everything stays in place, I added a few lines of stitching with my Stitch Happy sewing machine. I love that machine! My favorite feature of this machine is that it stitched with thicker (embroidery type) thread.

Graduation Scrapbook Page by Becki Adams for We R Memory Keepers

I couldn’t be happier with how this Kindergarten graduation layout came together. This day has so many precious memories for our family and I’m so happy to have them documented. I could have created this layout without my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools, but it wouldn’t have been as easy or as enjoyable. Don’t we all have our favorite tools that we love using and that makes crafting a little more fun? I’d love to know, what are your favorite crafting tools? Let me know in the comments below.
