I started scrapbooking back in 1996 when supplies were limited. Back then it was mostly stickers, decorative scissors and colored cardstock. It has been so fun to watch this industry change and grow over the years and grow with it. I am passionate about scrapbooking and photography and I love sharing it with others. I have been fortunate enough to study photography and work with Canon as a Special Projects Representative to train store employees in digital photography. I currently enjoying being on a few design teams while I share my love for scrapbooking and photography with others.
Favorite We R product:   I love the original crop-a-dile tool.  It is always a favorite go-to and must need in my tool supplies.  I’ve had my crop-a-dile for over 5 years and it is still going strong!
Favorite scrapbooking/papercraft tip:  My favorite scrapbooking/papercrafting tip is to keep your supplies organized.  This way they are always easy to find and access for that last minute
project.
Christmas Goodie Bags

Hello everyone!  Gina Lideros here, and I am so excited to be the guest designer this month.  I was invited to create a couple of treat bags using the Scalloped Oh Goodie Bag Guide tool as well as the glassine papers and accessories.

The Oh Goodie Collection has everything that you need to make easy treat bags.  I used the scalloped tool guide along with the Oh Goodie Christmas themed glassine papers to make holiday treat bags for family and friends.

The tool cuts the glassine paper so easily, the possibilities are endless.  After using the tool on the tops and bottoms of my bag I then folded the sides over and used my Sticky Thumb adhesive roller to glue the sides shut.

I filled my treat bags with candy, confetti and gift cards for loved ones.

I just love how these treat bags came out.  So festive and much more personable then just gifting a gift card.  Have you tried making your own treat bags for friends and family?

Christmas Treat Bags & Recipe

Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here today with handmade treat bags for giving a homemade sweet treat, plus scroll down for the recipe if you want to make some yourself! The Scallop Goodie Bag Guide, along with Glassine 12×12 Papers make quick and easy treat bags. I always say that making these projects is easy, but We R Memory Keeper’s tools really do make beautiful and thoughtful gift-giving simple!

I started with the snowflake glassine paper from the Holiday Classics pack along with the Scallop Goodie Bag Guide. Following the easy instructions included with the tool, my basic treat bags were done in minutes.

To begin, the food-safe glassine paper is torn along the guide, both at the top and bottom of the paper. This guide leaves a scallop finish to the edges. Then the straight edge is used to create the folds. Adhere the edges closed, and the bag is finished.

After making the treat bags, I decorated the fronts. On both bags strips of Chevron Washi Tape were added. On this bag chipboard heart stickers and a “xoxo” sticker was used. I love the gold shine from the stickers! So, festive!

On this bag, I spelled out “for you” with Thickers. A starburst closure and a gold bow finished things off.

Once my treat was put inside the bag, I closed the bag with a sticker. It’s a nice finishing touch.

Inside each of the bags is homemade caramel popcorn. It’s a special family treat that was always made to enjoy on Christmas Eve at my great-aunt’s house. As we waited for Santa to arrive, she would fill bowls full of popcorn. It’s a tradition and memory that brings a smile to my face every time. I have shared the recipe with you below. It’s a sweet treat meant for sharing!
